Einführung

Nestled in the Austrian spa town of Bad Gastein, The Drop Inn is a vibrant hub for both skiing tourists and locals. Founded in 2017 by three like-minded snowboarders, the venue embodies a laid-back, adventurous spirit.

As the design lead, I was tasked with crafting a cohesive brand identity that seamlessly extends across physical and digital platforms. From the logo and signage to the website and social media presence, my role has been to shape and evolve The Drop Inn’s visual identity.

This ongoing collaboration has not only strengthened the brand but also fostered a rewarding creative partnership.

Branding

Drawing inspiration from the natural beauty of Bad Gastein’s alpine landscape, I set out to design a logo and typography that captured the essence of The Drop Inn—playful, stylish, and approachable.

The goal was to reflect the venue’s laid-back yet adventurous spirit while ensuring the branding remained versatile across signage, merchandise, and digital platforms.

Digital Design

Beyond the physical branding, I played a key role in shaping The Drop Inn’s digital presence.

From producing eye-catching content and photography for social media to managing the business’s online platforms, my focus was on growing the audience and enhancing engagement.

Through a strategic approach to digital marketing, I helped drive increased website traffic and interaction, ensuring The Drop Inn maintained a strong and dynamic online presence that resonated with its community.

Print Design

In addition to digital branding, I developed a range of print materials to strengthen The Drop Inn’s presence and boost engagement.

From flyers and posters to menus and promotional materials, each design was crafted to reflect the brand’s personality while effectively communicating key messages.

These marketing assets played a vital role in attracting customers, increasing foot traffic, and driving revenue—especially during peak trading seasons.

Photography

Photography played a crucial role in The Drop Inn’s online marketing strategy, capturing the atmosphere, energy, and unique character of the venue.

From action shots of après-ski gatherings to carefully composed product and lifestyle images, my photography is used across social media, the website, and promotional campaigns.
