My journey into product design has been a natural evolution. While I developed skills in art and interactive design through education, I feel that my life experiences have prepared me for this next chapter…

From teaching ocean safety and surf techniques to people with disabilities to managing guest experiences on a yacht in the Mediterranean, I have spent most of my working life in roles where understanding and meeting people’s needs were crucial.

My interest in travelling was fuelled by a desire to experience, understand and connect with people from different backgrounds. Through studying user-centric design, I can now do just that in my freelance projects. For example, the ability to collaborate with and listen to my customers’ needs has significantly improved the performance of my business. 

I’ve learned that appreciating the human experience is essential for creating valuable and effective products, and I’m motivated to create experiences that empower people to achieve their goals.

Outside of design, I find inspiration in the outdoors, especially the ocean and mountains. And when I’m not checking the weather, you’ll probably find me immersed in music or engaging in various sports.
