Hi, I’m Jonah.

My journey into UX design has been a natural evolution. While I developed skills in art and interactive design through education, I feel that it's my life experiences that have been preparing me for this next chapter…

From teaching ocean safety and surf techniques to people with disabilities to managing guest experiences on a yacht in the mediterranean, I have spent most of my working life in roles where understanding and meeting people’s needs were crucial.

My interest in travelling was fuelled by a desire to experience, understand and connect with people from different backgrounds. Through studying user-centric design, I am now able to do just that in my freelance projects. For example, the ability to collaborate with and listen to my customers’ needs has recently improved the performance of my interior decorating business.

I’ve learned that appreciating the human experience is essential for creating useful and effective products and I’m motivated to create experiences that empower people to achieve their goals.

In my spare time, I enjoy the outdoors - especially the ocean and mountains- and when I'm not checking the weather, you’ll probably find me immersed in music or playing sports.

I’ve picked up skills along the way…
